Rules for regular 3-D shoots!
KINGSBORO BOWMEN SHOOTING RULES-- 2008
We will continue as an IBO club for 2008. We have adopted some of their
rules and will use them at all shoots. Please read and
make necessary adjustments to your equipment! Changes are in Bold!
For 2008 we will
continue with casual registration 9am to 11am and start shooting 9am to
11am
ELITE: Movable sights, Scope OK, Unlimited stabilizer length and
quantity, Release Aid allowed, Cash award, Orange Stake, Max Approximately
50 Yards
MALE BOWHUNTER OPEN: (MBO) Same equipment allowed as Elite
except shooting for trophies. Orange Stake, Max Approximately 50 Yards
MALE BOWHUNTER RELEASE: (MBR) Max 5 Fixed pins, No Scope,
Unlimited Stabilizer, Release Aid Allowed, Red Stake, Max Approximately
45 Yards
MALE BOWHUNTER FINGERS: (MBF) Same as MBR, Except no Release
Aid Allowed, White Stake, Max Approximately 35 Yards
HUNTER CLASS : (HC) Bowhunting Equipment, Max 4 fixed pins, 12"
Stabilizer, Fingers or Release Aid, Minimum of Three (3) four inch
feathers or vanes, Screw in points, Two WINS, MUST MOVE up to more
competitive class, (MBO, MBR, ELITE) White Stake, Max Approximately 35
Yards
WOMEN HUNTER CLASS, (WHC) Same rules as men's Hunter Class. White Stake Max
Approximately 35 Yards
SENIOR: (50 & UP) INCLUSIVE, NO BREAKDOWN, Red Stake, Max Approximately

TRADITIONAL: LONG BOW OR RECURVE, NO SIGHT OR STABILIZER, Fingers,

CUBS: AGE 12 & UNDER NO BREAKDOWN, Blue Stake, Max Approximately

YOUTH: AGE 13-17 NO BREAKDOWN, Green Stake, Max Approximately 30 Yards
Allotted Shooting Time: Two minutes for the first shooter in the
group. This time begins when the group in front of yours clears the
target or if clear when your group approaches the target. Each following
shooter will have One minute to shoot his/her arrow. Violations will
result in a five-point penalty. Each group is responsible for shooters
time within the group. If another group points out to much time to your
group it is your responsibility to speed up and stay within the allotted
time.
No adjustments allowed on fixed pins after tournament starts.
80-pound peak weight, Arrows will be minimum of 5 grains per pound.
Arrows will be inspected to confirm Target points are same outside
diameter as the shaft. We have had a lot of target damage by points
being larger than shafts.
Binoculars are allowed, No Range finders. Cameras only in use
after shooting.
No Broadheads..........No Cross Bows
Always proceed forward on the range, Reversing direction will
result in disqualification!
MAX 5 people in group! Please pay attention to
the Allotted shooting time limit!!
